What we keep, and what we don't.
This page describes how the Belize Inclusive Learning Hub handles the information you share with it. We try to keep this short and human. If anything below feels unclear, please write to us — we'll make it clearer.
Accounts
Accounts are created by a local site administrator. We store your name, email, role (family, staff, or admin), and a password protected by a one-way hash. We don't collect your address, phone number, or your child's information.
Lesson progress
When you mark a lesson complete, we record that you completed it, when, and which lesson it was. This is used to show you your progress and to award badges. Nothing about your progress is shared with anyone else.
Quiz answers
Quiz answers are saved so that you can see your own history and so we can improve future questions. We never publish individual answers.
Accessibility preferences
Your accessibility settings (text size, contrast, font, motion, etc.) live in your browser. If you are signed in, we also keep a copy on the server so the same settings follow you to other devices.
Anonymous analytics
We keep simple internal counters — how many people viewed a lesson today, which paths are most popular — with no third parties involved. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising tracker on this site.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we keep your message so we can write back. We don't share it with anyone outside the small volunteer team.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to remember that you are signed in. That's it. No tracking cookies.
Children
This site is designed for adults — parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has an account here, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change anything material on this page, we'll mark it clearly and explain why. Last updated: May 2026.
