The First Meeting With Your Teacher

A short script and a few questions that change the year.

Walking into the school can feel intimidating. Bring this little script:

"Thank you for teaching my child. I want to be a partner. Here is what helps them at home. Here is what worries me. What helps you?"

Ask three questions

  1. What does a good day look like?
  2. What does a hard day look like?
  3. How would you like me to reach you?
